    1. [ERATH] Erath county Jacksons
    2. Tommy Dunn
    3. Mr. Wyly, My grgrandmother was Nancy Ann Cothran Jackson, wife of William Addison Jackson, both of whom were born in Cherokee county Alabama and both died in Erath county but were buried in Hamilton County. They moved to Erath county between 1895 and 1900 and lived there twenty years or more. Their daughter Lula Ann Jackson d. 1927 Erath county and their son Joseph Forney Jackson d. 1963 Erath county. Are they in any of your Erath county history? Would love to know more about them as none of our relatives can tell me anything other than they were nice people. Nancy Ann Cothran Jackson, b. 1846 in Alabama was daughter of John A. Cothran and Frances E. Copeland b. 1824 SC. I always wondered why Nancy and William moved to Erath as none of our known kin lived there. Could she be related to your Copeland kin who moved to Erath County? Do you perhaps know who the parents of Frances Copeland were? I also have notes that say the Copelands were possible kin to Grover Cleveland. Another note says these Jacksons are buried in Altman Cemetery in Carlton, Hamilton County. Is that close by Stephenville? Another note mentions Chalk Mountain as where they lived or was buried. Would appreciate your indulgence on these questions. Really enjoy your missives on Erath County. Thanks, Joyce Dunn
