Have finally received some information on my grandfather. Here is what I know: Louis William Pollman His death cert. listed b. as Texas, Feb. 1, 1895. Father William Pollman, mother Alice (?). My mother says he was born in the Thurber area. D. Dec. 4, 1952, San Diego, CA. WWI and WWII vet. Have located a William E. Pollman, m. Alice (?), three children, Raymond, Grace and Martha Sarah Pollman. Martha was b. Sept 30, 1893, Thurber, TX. I do think this is the family I am interested in. My grandfather Louis's middle name was William and Raymond was my fathers middle name. He was from Thurber TX and my mother said he went back there from time to time to visit relatives. My grandmother and grandfather were divorced (if ever married..oh my, a family scandal) before my father was born. He was born in Bremerton WA (no records) when Louis was in the Navy. He met him in the 40's when Louis was a paymaster aboard a ship. I met him once when I was about 7. That's the story....does this match anyone out there. Thank you, Pat
