Thanks Jo I didn't see any that are familiar Dr Charles E. Clendenin brought his family to Texas in abt 1893-95 they came from Perry County Tennessee, Charles' father was Theodore C. Clendenin of Lawrence Co Tn. a son of Charles of Orange Co NC. I have a number of the branches of Charles of Oranges' family. I would be glad to send you an outline of his decendents. In my research I have seen a Clendennen family in Comanche county that has the same spelling. I'm not sure who they married. Sorry.
