I found in some of my shelves a book (t doesn't belong to me, I borrowed it,,)s by Mary Joe Clendenin, it has lot of stories about the Lone Oak Community in it..and the families that lived there when she was growning up- also mentions some of the teachers,,,, She did have some of the books for sale , I believe the book was done in 1993. She lives in Stephenville and I believe she has email, I don't have the address, but she writes for the Stephenville paper and her email might be on their page, Her stories are almost as good as Charlie Wyly's but not quite !
