    3. I am writing to the list because I have had some many requests for Look-up's I still have a husband that is in a lot of pain and using pain pills, so if I don't answer right away,. give me a few days. I will get all of you answered, my computer time is limited because he needs help in doing almost every thing. The next thing is that if I don't find you family name in the "book" that doesn't mean they weren't in the county at some point in time. This book was put together by the Historical Commission in 1980- and it was not done on a door to door basis, people were ask to submit their information, and if they didn't submit it, it isn't there. Mr., Wyly, I enjoy you stories so very much, and most of the people you mention, I know or their kids went to school with ours, We moved here in 1973 , and moved in to what is known in Dublin as The Gallagher House, we sold it in1978 and moved to Purves. The House is now owned by A.C. Martin and has been restores to almost original state, and they even has some of the furniture from the Gallaghers.... The house was built in 1893 and is a beautiful house and has a historical marker,,, and Martin has done most of the work himself. There is an article in the Dublin paper this week about the Warren which was occupied by the same family from 1934-1992 has been restored.. it is on the west side of Patrick. Patrick is the main street and Highway 377 which goes thru the middle of what is left of Dublin. Dublin is like Stephenveill, there have been a lot of changes since 1973, we have several Stop and Go stores, I medium grocery, the other burned almost 2 years ago, one full sevice service station, one place to buy womens clothes, if you can afford the prices, one Jewlery store, and one place to buy material and sewing things, also high prices, a Bill's dollar store and a Dollar General, Dublin is slowly being absorbed by Stephenville, Sorry I rambled, but I get very discourged , when I have to go out of town to get things, and we are 2 hours from almost any where, Fort Worth, Waco, Abilene, and Brownwood, We have a new library, but they need help like most libraries. and on and on/ Peggy in Purves
