Hi, forgot to mention that Milam County of Spanish days was from Cameron north- Mclennan, Bosque, Erath, and others to the north grew out of Milam County as the Apaches and Comanches were removed after their brief attempt to take settlers land during the Civil War, including the civilized Caddo and Cherokee settlers in Palo Pinto County.
