Hello. I am new to the list so I thought I would introduce myself and tell you what I am seeking. My mother was born in Dublin in 1916 and went to school there. Her parents arrived in Erath County about 1900. They were William (Will) Henry PRICE and Cynthia Jane (Jenny) PRICE. They had 8 children, 6 of whom were born in Stephensville and Dublin. They brought both sets of parents to live near them in Dublin. My GGrandparents were William Walter PRICE (d. Dublin 1905) and Marena WILLIAMSON PRICE who died there in 1912. Both my grandfather and GGrandfather PRICE were music teachers. My Grandmother's parents were Alford Mitchell (A.M.) STRICKLAND and Elizabeth Jane (Lizzie) BERRY STRICKLAND also lived there as well as many of their children. AM STRICKLAND died in Dublin in 1926 and Lizzie STRICKLAND died there in 1923. I would like to know more about them as well as other family members who may have joined them in Erath County. I am also very interested in my mother's early childhood. I know that times were very rough for them after their father died. Perhaps there is someone who had school records or marriage and death records that could check out these names for me and give me more information on the PRICE/STRICKLAND/WILLIAMSON families in Erath County.
