Hi, a B.D. Click ran a construction company 20 years ago- may still do so. Check your Associated General Contractors office or directory. It also seems a Click ran a used car lot on I-35 in McLennan County between Abbott and West (Old timers called it West Station) . He moved to Stephenville- he had worker with my cousin Hulon Carey in Grandbury or Stephenville and I bought a Pinto from him for my mother in law. She paid but asked me to get something cheap and easy to drive. It was her last car. The Stephenville phone book listsDARREN CLICK, DUBLIN, TEXAS AND LOONEY CLICK OF BUNYAN, TEX.dARREN IS AT 254-445-4032. LOONEY is at254-445-4689. CLICK'S AUTO SALVAGE is on the Dublin Highway, Stephenville, Texas254-968-3550. CLICK'S MOTORS USED CARS IS IN sTEPHENVILLE- SAME PHONE NUMBER. bET THEY EITHER HAVE A COMPUTER FOR e MAIL OR A HOT LINE. Some younger operators catalof all useable parts on each car and communicate by E mail rather than the old noisy Short wave hot lines. I notice one is named Looney. Mr. Looney ran a salvage and wrecking yard on the lod Glen Rose hiway in the 1930's to 50's and his son Ancil ran an auto shop in Stephenville. Mr. Looney made a lot of money selling parts during World War II when new civilian cars were not being made and parts were scarce. Dad had his old Chevy P.U. rebuilt by J.D. Holbrook machine shop and some parts were " bootlegged " from Mexico. Some looked strange, but they worked. Wonder if this Click could have had a Looney grandmother or mother????. .
