    3. Dear Turks- Have some general Mitchell info which may help. The Mitchell cemetery is at Iredell, Texas, Bosque County, just off Hwy 6. Carl Mitchell- German, was from Dublin., Texas. His daughter married my wife's nephew, Joe Mack Riley & they run a dairy on the dirt road from Dublin cemetery to Lake Proctor, which is on the Leon River. Back in Georgia, Habersham County, Martha Catherine Mitchell was the third wife of Oliver Cromwell Wyly and niece of his first wife, Lucy Eddins, my great-great grandmother. The Kay family claim that the "Miss Pitty Patt" in Gone with the Wind" was a copy of one of these Wyly girls and her personal servant in Atlanta. One Mitchell wrote "\Gone with the Wind". Lucy and Martha had Yowell ancestors- also the ancestors of the present Yowells of Waco, Texas. Pennsylvania Dutch or German. and Scottish and Irish heritage. Martha Mitchell was also the great Granddaughter of Col. Ben Cleveland through Patsy Cleveland and a Moulder- some records show a Col. Von Moller-German , then Moulder. The Waco Yowells claim to trace to Germany, families of Uhl & other phonetic spellings. Velma Kay Hugghins of Houston, a Wyly Granddaughter and a certified Geneaologist, says the Yowells wer e Scottish and on clan rosters. Tell me if I am wrong- but isn't that like argueing if the Tennessee Seviers came from England, France, or Navarre? (Xavier of Royal Burbon Family. Prince Juan Carlos of Spain today is of this family and , as longest ruling family in Europe, rides his Motor Scooter to Parliament without bodyguards. ) They came from all 3 at different times. Does this give you any ideas, or just smoke the issue up.
