Dear Charles Wyly & Others, Your posts are so full of great information - such a wealth or oral tradition and real history... I see you to be a huge filing cabinet of legend, lore, and truth... Havind studied the movement, migration,clusters, homelife, occupations, music, art, genealogy, religion, family names, etc....from the time they came on the ships with Columbus in the late 1400's til now... they were sent out and deported, some first to the Caribbean... some being Mediterranean or Northa African gypsies, some Irish Travellers... just like the Jews in the Spanish Inquisition... and I have seen their influence in the South in many ways....I know that you have had at least one encounter with a flim flam man, gypsy, traveller or whatever... could you give me some of your insite?
