If anyone else researches BRUMBELOW/BRUMBELOW/BRUMBELO/BRUMBLO there is an excellent book "Brumbelow: Linear Expansion" by Jerry Lee Brumbelo, 1982. I was able to view this book several years back and KNOW I have some notes from it but those seem to have disappeared into my files. No problem though as I sent copies of what I found to my cousin, Lisa PAGE (a direct descendant). Melinda "Linda" MULLINs also descends from this line and is found online. Now, the Brumbelow book I mentioned states that the line of Lewis BRUMBELOW was well researched by Mr. Michael COOK, Certified Genealogist , of 3318 Wimbert Ave., Evansville, IN He has placed her as marring 45 Aug. 1841 Stephen D.DORRIS.(According to Wm. POE of Tuscon, AR sh remarried Nicodemus KEITH). The book then lists the children as follows: Abijah DORRIS 23 Jul 1842 TX Stephen " " 19 Feb 1844 TX John Bunyon " 3 Jan 1846 TX Rebecca Jane " 16 Sept 1848 TX Louisa " 23 Jun 1850 Wm. Bundy " I wrote Lisa about this finding and my suggestion was to find Nicodemus KEITH and Eliz. BRUMBELOW's marraige certificate to determine if these children were in fact DORRIS or KEITH children and compare with census records. Regardless......we know that Abijah used KEITH as his surname in later years. Abijah B.
