The Conways have several pages in Sevier Family History with letters of Gen and Gov. John Sevier of Fort Watayga, 1780.s and Rev. War. One Sevier married a Conway and they, like Wylys and Kings, are listed into Texas. One of Sevier's kids married a Cherokee- John had followed orders to complete the Trail of Tears. His grandson Daniel Sevier, on Cherokee rolls, was a Governor of Arkansas. In Scotland, if one was invited to a social function and the Conway Rose was over the door, anyone could speak freely about anything and the one who repeated it later anywhere to an outsider was subject to death at the hands of a Conway. Seviers in Waco, Itasca, and Killeen have the same Family history I do. Source: Sevier Family History and speakers at one Sevier Family Reunion we arrended about 1988 . Tuckers in Hillsboro and West run lumber yards. I attend church with one in Hewitt who is retired Military. Check your internet phone book to find these, or I could send them if they are your line. Sleep tight and don't let the Bedbugs bite.
