    3. Still can't find Bertha Arnold's family on computer, but think she wasa Higdon before marriage. Dolly and Ross Higdon and the Arnolds used to come out on weekends from Dallas and help Aunt Susie Moxley. Great Grandad had Arnold grandkids somewhere down the tree- not Arendells. One Arendell would have been their uncle. Concerning the Marks family, guess you knew Dr. Marks of Marks- English Hospital in Glen Rose, Texas, 1960's About Cook families- two Cook Brothers, barbers, in Glen Rose, bought a load of lumber so a driver-owner could repair his truck and go home. Out of this grew the Cook Brothers Lumber and Building supply in Stephenville. Bud Cook lived or lives in a climate control allergy free home by Dr. W.P.Hatchett's 1900 2 story mansion, restored by Bud Cook. His daughter married my second cousin David Carey, who lives on next farm south and owns from there east to Duffau Creek, where 3 to 5 families used to live. David's son finished High school last year and is working in Stephenville now. David's wife's sister, (a Cook) married James Nolan of Selden. Will check back if I can straighten out the Arnolds, but they were Great Grandad George Milton Moxley's descendants, and separate from Arendells, unless you know something I don't. See you later if I find details Charles Wyly On Wed, 05 Aug 1998 08:46:09 -0500 Mike & JoAnn Brown <mikeb@dfw.net> writes: >I am searching the surnames of >Mefford,Arendell,Bolling,Manahan,Marks,& >Cook. >I have alot of information on the Meffords & Bollings.I really need >help >on the Arendell, Marks,Cook & Manahan families. All of these families >lived in Erath County, some as far back as 1850. > I would be more than willing to share my information with others. > I am also seeking information on the Davis,Sanders & Lott families of >Erath & Bosque Counties. > Any information on any of these families would be greatly >appericated. > Thank you, > JoAnn > > _____________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail.
