I am seeking information on the Griffin & Hook families of Erath County,Tx. Louis Griffin was born around 1818 in Alabama & married Liza Thomas in Al. They had the following children; Edmond Griffin -born in Al.& died in Erath County,Tx. Mary(sis) Griffin was born Dec.1,1847 in Al.& died Feb.1,1929 in Stephenville.Tx. Dawell Griffin -no information J.W. Griffin (J.P.)born in 1887-1889-no information O.S. Griffin was born in1851 in Al. & died May 16,1916 in Stephenville,Tx. Notes: Edmond Griffin is buried at Oak Dale Cemetry,Erath Co.,Tx.I have not be able to locate his grave nor some of the other members of my family that are buried in Oak Dale Cemetry.I have been told by several people that they build a road over some of the graves.Does anyone know anything about this? I will be willing to share information on any of these families. Thank You
