Could his name have been spelled Goade? I know that it can be spelled both Goad and Goade. My line spelled theirs with the "E" and I have had a heck of a time getting past my Great Grandfather. I am searching for Nathaniel Goade b: abt 1860 MO d: abt 1884-1887 ? married 1877 Wise Co. TX Elizabeth Hellums b: MO d: Marshall Co. OK. My Hilley & Fox families were from Erath Co. TX.
