Kay, I missed your original post but I have a collateral connection to BRUMBELOW/BRUMBELOS. One of my great uncles, ie. Chana MULLINS md. Leucy KEITH whose mother was a BRUMBELO. I have several generations back on the BRUMBELOs and from memory they came from TN. BTW,the name Chana can be traced back to Chana BRIGGS who came from SC. Many of his descenants carry the name as a 1st or 2nd name.. ..so if it appears in your tree anywhere, esp. if you're from Erath Co. let me know.....we probably have a connection. COOKS are also related, Chana's sister Sarah Eliz. MULLINS md. into the COOK family. I can dig this up if anyone has an interest. Her first husband died and she later md. HEIDLEBERG. While I'm tossing out family connections two of the MULLINS md. BRAMBLETTs from this area. Great granpa William Henry "Willie" MULLINS md.Sarah Parthenia ADKISSON whose surname often shows "N" instead of an "S", and "T" instead of "D".....Sarah's parents and several sibs are buried at Old Dublin and Dublin Cem.'s Am I getting close yet to anyone? <G> DEBBIE
