Mr. Wyly, I certainly am enjoying all of the interesting stories you have been sharing with all of us. Just thought I would throw out my surnames with the hope you might have a story to tell about one of them. My gg-grandparents were John and Sarah Bryson Herring. My g- grandmother, Pearl Herring, was born in Chalk Mountain and the family later moved to Duffau. She married Michael Edwards who is said to have been a U.S. Marshall. My grandmother, Hattie, married an R.L. Hailey and they lived in both Dublin and Hico. Do you know anything about any of them? Thank you, Judi Clark
