Hi, I have seen little or no Txerath mailings in the last week- slowest I have ever seen it. I will post a short message today. Possibilities: 1. Tarleton Summer school schedule? 2. Family Reunion time- but it's getting late for that. 3. Student summer school and athletic playoffs in Baseball of summer community teams. 3. Harvest time for contract harvesters of Corn & hay for silage for dairymen. Some harvest teams come from New Mex. and Ok. 4. Vacations. 5.Keller Schools start August 1 st- not Sept.1. Many more start August 15 . Teacher planning , workshops, and in some cases moves into new school facilities are taking place here in Waco and Hewitt, where several with Erath County connections teach or work. Midway is setting up Computer access to the library from some classrooms. and opening a new 4 A high school, swiftly becoming a 5 A. 6 Stephenville hosts Texas State 6 man football Coaches workshop and an all Star Game through Tarleton- not sure of exact schedule. 7.It is always Rodeo time, especially now, and Dairymen are running their Misters in the Cooling and holding sheds near the Dairy barns. Also, some livestock and riding events are being held before school starts.
