I do not have a McElroy in Indian Creek,,,,,,,,,however, we have many unmarked graves. I also do not have any York's but I have seen that name listed in other cemeteries. Indian Creek Cemetery is located sw of Stephenville,,,off of Hwy 281 going to Hico. You go about six miles to the Selden cut off,,,,which is on the left,,,,,on the right is a methodist church,,,,,,,,right beside it is a country road which dead ends into Indian creek cemetery. Huckabay is nw of stephenville. I will also check my chalk mountain cemetery,,,,,,,its located ne of stephenville about 10 miles off of Hwy 67 going to glen rose. Also,,,down the street from me lived a Mrs. McElroy that was her married name,,,,she died several years back after spending sometime in a nursing home,,,,,do you know about her....Her house was on long st and alexander.
