I haven't connected my Shipman's to the Chalk Mt but I assume that they are connected since they came from MO. My Shipman in Erath Co. were William "Beall Shipman and Lucinda Francis Brown Shipman married in Phelps or Pulaski Co... MO abt 1865 and moved to Erath in abt 1875 where their son, Samuel Levi was working for Mason Grigsby Jones and later married in daughter, Rachel Martha in Erath Co on 23 July 1891. Mason donated the land for the Jones Cemetery also known as the Beth Haven Cemetery. I have a newspaper article where Mason son, Mason Overstreet "Street" and his wife Mollie Sechrist Jones announcing their 75th wedding anniversary. Michaellann
