Hi, Nancy Beinholm- , Straighten me out on the Womacks. They are listed as Scotch- Irish immigrants in 1600- early 1700's. Yet the ones dad taught in Bosque County I thought were of German or Norwegian origin. Dad said the entire first Grade in Harmony School near Meridian spoke Norwegian, including a Womak or Womack . and between Clifton and Whitney is Womack Church and hall. I thought they were Lutheran. One of them married a distant Hatchett Cousin of mine in Boisque County and best I remember they are buried in Indian Creek Cemetery, Erath County. I have several Womacks in the Hatchett Family Tree- . Weren't some involved in Texas Revolution but the Norwegians had not found the Bosque Valley and prairie between it and the Brazos. Will apreciate any input on this. Charles A. Wyly
