I am not a contact for the cemetery, but have several family members buried there including a greatgrandfather and mother. The history of the cemetery is that the Baptist and the Methodist couldn't agree to use the same cemetery due to the Upper Greens Creek Cemetery is located on Baptist property; so the Methodist established the Lower Greens Creek Cemetery for Methodist. Church disputes are nothing new. I forget to use www.topozone.com to find cemeteries. It shows it much closer to Stephenville than the Upper Cemetery. You're right, it's on the east side of Hwy 377. Does your book give a contact for a cemetery association, if there is one.
