My great-great grandparents Rufus and Ann Green Birdsell moved to Daffau, Erath County about 1859. Rufus donated a acre of land for a school and was known for a long time as the Birdsell school house. He died there 1 Sept 1883 and is buried in the Cemetery that was beside the School House. I think the Cemetery may now be known as Millerville Cemetery. Rufus was a farmer and a stockraiser. Several children was born to Rufus and Ann. There are two daughters that I have nothing on but their birth years and marriage records. I thought maybe someone on the list may have some info on them or their spouses. The daughters were, Lucinda born about 1864 married C.H. Wright, Martha A. born about 1867 married J. Barnett. Is anyone research the Wright or Barnett family? Mell
