There is still a state mental hospital on South Presa in San Antonio. I don't think it is well known but there are also two cemeteries on the hospital land. However---- the stones are just numbered, no names. You have to go to the personnel office inside and show proof of relationship and the death date before you are given the number of the grave. Both cemeteries are surrounded by fences and the gates are LOCKED. You have to get a guard to open the gates,, and they will only do that after approval from the personnel office. The office personnel are quiet nice and went the extra mile when I visited there in 2001. However, since they couldn't find a record of the individual I was looking for , I never found the grave. I was told that the only patients buried there were those who's family did not come and claim them after death. Hope this helps. Alice Moore
