Callie, Good luck researching King's in Texas!! LOL The King Ranch I believe was the largest ranch in the world at one timeand there are probably a ton of Kings around. We have friends out in West Texas who are Kings, not sure what family. James Bentley King is the father. I know, there are about 40 bezillion Kings and 20 bezillion are Williams. I think My William's father is a Bennett King. I don't know if there is a James Bentley, I have seen that name somewhere, not sure unless it was Limestone County or there about, maybe Cherokee County. I haven't connected to the King Ranch ones. I was hoping to connect there, but no such luck. If I find James Bentley King, I will send it. I save a lot of these in case I connect one day.
