Hi, I have 2 Lees on my family tree- -one is through the Hatchett- Tuggle line. I do not know the complate Lee connections. I attended school at Johnsville with a Dixie Lee, but do not know any connetion. Descendants of Charles Lee 1 Charles Lee 1683 - ... +Dorothy .......... 2 George Lee 1715 - ................ +Mary Buford ...................... 3 Dorothy Lee 1749 - ............................ +Lodwick Tuggle 1741 - Tuggles , Tarrant and Herndons made Military uniforms for export world=wide from Bradford, England. for 400 years. Enterred through Jamestown, Virginia, where John Hatchett was from an orphan ship, age about 12 (Dad in Debtor;'s Prison) His grandad or G.G. was Burgess of Shrevesburg. His indentured contract was sold to John Farley, and he eloped with jane Farley against her dad's will before his contract had expired. John Farley was not a happy camper. .................................. 4 William Tuggle 1777 - ........................................ +Anna Dunn 1781 - Several Dunns show up from 1700's to the Dublin Sawmill Operator, Mr. Dunn, who was married to sister of Fred and Frank Wyly. Frank, Jr., age 17, drove 3000 English sheep from Atlanta to west of San Angelo as contracted to Trammel and Crow, of Stephenville and San Angelo. Mr. Dunn moved his sawmill to same area. last I heard it was still in use, cutting dead Pecan , Walnut and other hardwoods. Some of first Stephenville wood - not log, buildings were made of this "Buckskin" or " Rawhide "hardwood used as siding and/or panneling. Probably in some old Antique tables in Stephewnville, Dublin, and Brownwood and San Angelo. as local cabinetmakers bought local lumber and made furniture to order. Last of that line in Erath County was "Hub" Willis of Stephenville who made grandmother Wyly's cabinets for Selden home. he also used local hardwood in 1930's to make oak and Bois-D-Arc parts for wagon wheels which needed repair. Now we order such by catalog or stock number. .............................................. 5 Elizabeth Tuggle 1803 - 1890 .................................................... +John Beasley Hatchett 1794 - 1847 .......................................................... 6 Dr & Rev.
