Hwy 6 runs from Houston area through Bryan, Waco, Hico, Dublin, and on past Albany. There is an older fenced Dublin Cemetery off Hwy 6 on Carleton Road. Another road turns off down the side of this cemetery, heading past the Mitchell or Riley Dairy and Lake Proctor . This cemetery is almost full . It is much older than the new one across Hwy 6 . The funeral home in town has records of burials there, and directions. The back halls of the Baptist Church have museum grade records and artifacts of some pastors, including "Chodctaw" Bill Robinson and Reuben Ross- e" At one time Stephenville and Dublin were half time churches and shared same pastor, for a few years. Perhaps someone can give the exact name and numbers of the roads by this old Cemetery- one is a County Road and, since the revised names of Roads & Mailboxes to match 911- emergency calling what is the county road called now? I know that some of the new mailbox numbers and such are wierd- not always simpler than they were, butat least uniform for 911 Calls. Useing an old address in Hightower Cemetery- Lipan area may get your mail returned or trashed, depending on class postage. Remember this when sending Reunion notices second Class .
