    3. Kathy, A reference to C. Sparks is made in the county road records of Hood county on Setp. 15, 1876. "On Setptember 15, 1876, the county commissioners appointed Robt. T. Foster as overseer of Sub Division Two of the Grandbury-to-Palo Pinto Road with these hands to help him: Green Lee, C. Sparks, Henry Thorpe, the Muggs, Rash Beavers, Douglas, Dr. Hall, Gunters, A. Rogers, Sullivans, L. Stavenhagen, Anderson, Martin, and Wm. Self." This information was supplied by the Granbury Historical Society.
