Wayne, Thanks, I've visited with Royce and in fact, gave him a copy of most of the Sparks information that I had at the time. My grandfather was Jeff Sparks and great grandfather was William Frederick (Fred) Sparks ...I remember Jeff talking about "Uncle Oll." And I *think* I remember your mother ...if she's who I think she is, she was a sweetie. I am really looking for information about both John Jackson Sparks (which would have been your great grandfather) and his wife, Sarah E. Isaacks Sparks (they used to refer to her as "grandmammy"). I have been told that Sarah was half Indian but have not been able to document that ...all I know is her father was Frederick Isaacks and her mother was "Mary" ...Mary died in Cherokee county Texas in about 1851 then Fred Isaacks and daughter Sarah moved to Bluff Dale and he remarried. If you remember any old family stories or know any tales about those folks, please pass them along. Also, I have pictures of John and Sarah Sparks ...if you would like a copy, I can email them to you. And, I have a picture of a man and woman and two children that's labeled: "Marthie McCleary, Aunt Emmer Wallace's sister" that I suspect is part of your family ...I can email that too if you'd like. If there's anything I have on the Sparks line that you want, please let me know. There once was a Sparks family Bible that I'd love to locate ...it *might* have names or dates but then, it might not. I can email or mail anything you're interested in. Oh, and I would like to see if you have some dates, places of births and deaths on Oll and his children. I have very little on his line.
