Clyde, I have Matthews, Bishop, and Sparks families that settled in the Lipan/ northern Erath county vicinity ...most are buried at Bishop Cem. I'm not quite sure what years they came to the Lipan area but I think is was between 1875 and 1877 ...the Bishops and Matthews came from Shackleford county.
