    1. [ERATH] Sparks
    2. Kathy Tate
    3. Charles, Gosh I wish those names rang a bell but they don't ...I don't know if they are of the same family or not. My John Jackson Sparks was born in North Carolina in the 1830's, fought for the Confederacy then came to Texas. I don't know why he came to Texas ...at one time I thought maybe he'd first stopped in east Texas (Cherokee county area) but I've nothing to confirm that. After the war, I found him living with the Fred Isaacks family in Erath county ...Fred and his daughter, Sarah, had just come to the Bluff Dale, TX, area from Cherokee county. I'll tell you, ol' John is one of my brick walls! His mother in law is the other! ...all I know about her is her name was "Mary" and she was said to be an Indian. ...lots of "Mary's" out there!!! If and when you sort through the Sparks info, you might take note of some of the names and email them to me. I'm pretty much at a loss here and any suggestion is very welcome. Thanks...
