Hi, please correct me if I am wrong, but mom attended Selden Church with an Ammabelle Allison and I think she lived in Selden on road from kay and Wyly farms towards Evergreen. Wasn't she the mother of Tarleton State University Coach Johnny Dunn? I attended SHS and Tarleton at the same time he was there, shining in Football. This Allison was in Selden Community in 1920's Before that, the Crockett School was across Hwy 67 and Evergreen School was down the old Dirt Hwy 67, which joined Hwy 281 in the Valley Grove area.
