His daughter told me last night that he was the Clint Roberts who was deputy Sheriff in Stephenville. He was not the boxer Sunny Boy Roberts, but was a cousin of his. Clint died in 1961, age 88. He worked for the City Parks and never owned a car, but rode horse back everywhere. He & his wife Margie (Hale) lived on Belknap Street. His son, Richard Lyle Roberts (1913-1982), Wife Verna Lee, was a building contractor who built houses. His daughter Frances married Mr. Jackson who worked at the post office for 30 years.
