Read your post on the Erath County list serve.  Noticed your name was Westfall.  There are Westfall's in Irion County.  Some lived in Barnhart and there is a Jim Westfall who was our Irion County Judge who is buried in the Barnhart cemetery.  His son Jimmy Westfall still lives in the Mertzon, Texas area in Irion County.  They lived in Andrews County before moving here.
