Hi, Its September and time for us to think about the annual meeting at the Turnbow Cemetery. At our meeting last year, we voted to meet again in the fall and see if we could get more attendance. Just in case you forgot—it will be on Saturday October 18th 2003. As usual, we will meet at the cemetery about 9 AM and hopefully we will have some nice fall weather. Bring a covered dish if you can, and come anyway if you can't. We always have a lot of food. I am usually at the cemetery by 9 AM and ready to meet and greet all of you. Meet people, talk genealogy, family etc., until noon, share a nice pot luck lunch and then a short (and I do mean short) business meeting. Laura Turnbow Williamson, our former treasurer for 30 years is now living at a retirement home in Dublin. She turned 96 this past August and if any of you would like to drop her a card the address is: Mrs Laura Williamson 118 East Live Oak Dublin, Texas, 76446 I hope that now that we have changed the date, you will not only be able to come, but to also bring a relative (or two or three). We need new members, people who have ancestors buried there prior to 1970. For those of you who cannot make the meeting and would like to send a donation, my address is at the bottom of this letter.
