Hi all! I haven't posted in awhile�been busy with my 2 kids. Anyway, I had a WONDERFUL experience. I got to see my Grandpa, Tullie Herring, for a few days. He is 98? now and still has fairly decent hearing and a good memory. I got him telling me stories - like when he and Grandma Clara got married in a cotton field in Erath County for $2, and when he got 3 of his toes run over by a train down in Willis, Tx. Anyway, my mother has her Thornton trilogy being re-published. Cindy knows about these books - it's the story of the Daniel and Mary Anna Thornton settling into Erath County. They should be on sale any time now - they are in a set of 4 called "Texas Dreams" and you can find them in Christian bookstores as well as WalMart. Oh, and her name is Linda Herring. Take care!
