Wasn't the Poor Farm behind the old peach orchard on the Extension Service's land (west side of 281)? I remember a dirt road between the peach trees and the "new" Extension Service building with an old house at the end. Seems like we once went there to see some one or some thing back in the early/mid 50's ...I don't remember ...maybe to buy peaches. I just remember the road and house. Does that sound right Charles?
