I watched a scientific report on DNA. a team of scientist have spent years trying to isolate and follow dna in the migration of man throughout the world. they found a tribe in africa that has a unique dna and they started with that and traced mans migration. I wont go into all the details but what they found was that we are all evolved from this one tribe,,,,,they were able to find the dna marker in all ethnic groups. eva

Tom Rogers cousin did a report on black dutch and we had a discussion about the origin of this term. It is a mixture of different races and has a long history of how it evolved in early america if you had dark skin you were looked down upon many mixed blood lines, indians, whites, black, gypsies, spaniards, etc who were swarthy,,,,,,used the term black dutch to cover up their real ethnic makeup. the term was used in my family and after looking back over my geneaology from the rogers side i gathered we had gypsy, spanish, jewish, blood mixed in,,,,,,,but i am not sure i even called holland to find this group lol,,,they have never heard of black dutch. so i dont use the term anymore to describe my rogers side,,,,,,lol Instead i list all of our blood lines.
