Can anyone remember the given name of Happy Drummond who used to have a hamburger stand in the alley behind the bank at the NW corner of the square? I was going to look him up in the "Ellis County Deaths" but then I realized that I didn't know his real name. For those readers who haven't heard of Happy Drummond, he was a beloved Scout Master of Troop 235 and there was always a waiting list of boys who wanted to join his troop. In addition, I have never eaten a better hamburger than the five cent hamburgers he sold during the 30s and 40s. I'll just bet that he has a stand behind the biggest bank in Heaven now! Tom
