Found some information, but need proof of the following: 1. The Prince Bros. Drilling Company was the first one in the state of Texas? 2. Marguerite Prince Underwood owned at least 58 rent houses in Vernon. 3. The "Sunshine Lease," was the first oil boom in Vernon area or TX? 4. Either the Prince Bros. company, or some of the brothers owned numerous buildings in and around Vernon and Electra, including banks and movie theatres. 5. During the "Burke-Burnett Boom," Clarke Gable was working for the Prince Bros. on the well site as an oil hand. 6. At one time Prince Bros. Drilling and Gailey (sp?) Drilling Company, worked together to bring in wells at leases from TX to Colorado. 7. The Prince Bros. or one of the individual brothers loaned H. L. Hunt money and put him on a lease. 8. The Prince Bros. Drilling Company were running 48 wells at one time around Gladewater, TX. 9. They donated an oil company truck to a museum (Longview, Marshall area), is it still there? Someone at the museum painted another local company name on the doors, but that was supposed to have been removed. 10.
