I saved your message because of the name HULEN. I don't have any Hulen surnames that I am aware of, however, one of my Mother's Thompson cousins, from Ellis county, was named Hulen B. Although the Thompsons are not my direct line and I am not researching them, I do have a lateral interest in them. Could Hulen B's name have come from his Mother, Laura Thompson's, maiden name?
