Doc Tidwell is my husband's Grandfather. Sidney Wilson Tidwell is Doc's father. Doc's real name was William Arthur Tidwell. Doc was born Dec 10 1910 in Ellis County. He died Aug 29 1971 in Waxahachie. He was shot and killed during a robbery of his gas station. Kathy Tidwell
