My husband's Tidwell's did come from Blount County, Ala. (Oneonta). My husband's Great Grandfather was Sidney Wilson Tidwell, born July 21 1866 and died Dec 31 1952. He is buried at Mt Peak cemetery Ellis County. Sidney was one of fourteen children. Sidney and two of his brother's migrated to Texas. Sidney and his brother Thomas Wheeler Tidwell eventually settled in Ellis County. The other brother, Rufus Marion Tidwell settled in Van Zandt County, Texas. I don't think I know a Bolivar Tidwell.
