My Grandfather, William S. Foote and his family, plus his father, Livington B. Foote and his family, moved from Itawamba County, Mississippi to Ellis County, Texas arriving there about May 1900. Almost immediately they began having serious family problems, mostly sickness and death. They became so discouraged that they returned to Mississippi in 1903. While they were in Texas, my great GF, Livington B. Foote, died and was buried in Telico cemetary February 14, 1902. Also, the youngest daughter of William and my Grandmother died June 17 1902 and also was buried in Telico cemetary, Her name was Hester. Also, only two months after arriving in Ellis County, the infant son of W. L. Foote and his wife Martha, was stillborn and was buried in Telico.
