The Handbook of Texas Online is a valuable resource. I have a few ancestors listed in it and found multiple errors in their biographies. I sent in documented corrections last year and they assured me they would change their data but it hasn't happened yet. I know that sort of thing takes a long time. In the meantime the information others are reading is wrong...including the parents, place of birth as well as birthdate of one of them. This could cause problems! Cynthia Orth eorth2@midsouth.rr.com
