Suzy, You might want to check for an obituary that might have been put in the newspaper. Check the Sims Library newspapers on microfilm around this time. Have checked everywhere I can think of at Sims Library, and the county clerks office at Wax. Nothing... Orr Hardware in Ferris, Texas handled the funeral and person is buried in Crisp. But, would like to find a death cert. They usually contain additional information. Somewhere, there is perhaps someone who knows something about the Orr Hardware/Funeral Home records.
