    2. Carl Martin Family Tree
    3. Hi Nancy, There are 110 cemeteries in Ellis County and 9 of them are in Waxahachie. A website is http://www.cemeteries-of-tx.com/Etx/Ellis/ListEllis.html and there is a message board here; plus some cemeteries will allow lookups. Do a search of google.com with key words (funeral home, waxahachie, tx) and the results will be at least 5 and each one has a website and phone number and email addresses. I have had great success with funeral homes contacts. 3. Happy New Year, Ya’ll! I’m trying to track down “Jett Thomas”. Jett was actually born here in Georgia around 1818. Sometime in 1860 – 61, he moved his family to Pine Bluff, Desha County, Arkansas. A few years later, they moved down to Waxahachie, Ellis County, Texas. Family lore says Jett owned and operated a General Store there. It is my understanding he died and was buried there. His wife and children then moved back to Georgia. I know very little about Jett. If you have any information that might be helpful, I would appreciate it. Thanks,  Don Wilson Marietta, Georgia

    3. I have retired to Northwest Arkansas and don't go back to Texas very often. The only way I can help you is find people in Navarro and Ellis county who know something about the Threet family. I can send this information to you and you can determine if they are your line or another one. Is Halley/Hallie Threet of your line? 1. Re: [TXELLIS] Threet Family Help needed

    3. Ok Anne, I understand what you are asking me. I was understanding that you knew some of the family personally. I really am interested in anyone of the Threets that are buried in Ellis County. If you have access to a Cemetery book and could look up the Threets in Ellis County it would help me to maybe tie some of them together with dates. I know that some of the Threet family is buried in Ellis County. If I start with the Threet name and then I will be able to maybe add some others to the list. I am currently getting a list of obits that I need in the area and will need help with it in the near future. If you can go to the Corsicana library and look up some of them for me let me know and I will get you some name to look up for me. Thanks for the help. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I will send you a list of 10 to 15 names for obit if you can do this. I know that you are a senior citizen and I don't want you to do something that you don't have the time to do. I will be in TX in June of 2008 but the list is so long that I won't be able to look all of them up myself. Any help that I can get will be greatly appreciated. Sincerely Kenneth Britton Anne Wilson <[email protected]> wrote: Somehow we haven't "connected". When I ask for information I just take what the person gives me. Then I go to the census records or anything else pertaining to that person and get what I want. I'm afraid you won't find anyone who can give you the exact data you need. Usually a person who is helping you can only tell you some things about the family you are looking for. If you are interested in someone in Italy you need to look for them in Waxahachie- Ellis County; Barry- you need to look in Corsicana, etc. I have a lot of blank spaces simply because I can't go to the counties I am working in. I just take what I can get and hope I can go to the courthouse some day and get the exact information. 3. Yes, I have a cousin who moved with his family to Italy when he was in about the 6th grade. Tell me what you need and I will call him and ask him. He has been gone from there since he graduated from high school in 1945 but his parents lived there until they died. His name is Robert Varnell and he lives in Arlington, Texas. He will help you if he can. Let me know. Anne Walton Wilson On Tue, 4 Dec 2007 17:33:28 -0800 (PST) Crystal <[email protected]> writes: > Do you know anyone from Italy Tx?
