    3. Seeking information on the burial place of Allen W. Stephenson. Allen W. was born in Limestone County,Al. in 1858. His picture taken at the Littlefield Photography Studio in Cleburne,TX. shows him to be in his early 20's. His mother was Mary Holt Stephenson and his father was Sylvester Brown Stephenson(Stevenson) Sylvester who died in Waxahachie,TX. in 1908. It is said that Allen W. Stephenson died young and he might be buried in Ellis County. Any help in locating the resting place of Allen W. Stephenson would be greatly appreciated.

I'll swear that I conciously typed 235 where the computer captured 232! Happy's Scout Troop was number 235. Troop 232 was in the old log cabin in Getzendaner Park and had a long series of Scout Masters, the last of whom I remember was "Doc" Gill. Happy's troop was in a cabin down by the cemetary. Mark A.     3. This is my grandmothers family I have a birth certificate for Allie Iva HENDRIX from Waxahachie, Ellis Co., Texas. Allie married William Piercie SLOCUM April 15 1911. Her parents were Alexander Jefferson HENDRIX and Mary Ida BRITTON (Mary is also know as Fannie HENDRIX). I know that the family lived in Ross Co.,Texas and that both Alexander and Mary are buired in Ross, Texas. Mary HENDRIX shows to be born in Giles Co, TN about 1864. I also have the orginial marriage certificate of Alexander Jefferson HENDRIX and Mary BRITTON dated 3 December 1886. If these names are connected to your family I would be glad to share information.     3. I am looking for Emma Kennedy--possilbly Telitha E. Kennedy who died in Ennis Texas 12/19/1920. She was married to Robert Jackson Kennedy and they lived in Kansas city MO. I believe she may have gone to Texas after his death to be near family (maiden name of Sargent) siblings, or daughters - Nellie Kennedy and Rosia Kennedy (married names unknown.) TD, Our family also started in Maryland as Mullikin with James b:1630-1640 md to Mary Darnaal (widow of John Darnaal)- James Mullikin b:abt 1663 d: bef 22 May 1718, Prince George's co, MD m: abt 1688 Jane Prather- son William Mullikin b:abt 1700 m: Margaret Turner. All of his children went by Mullican, and his son William b:abt 1740 md: between 1814-1820 Nancy "Ann" Allen is the father of our line. Let me know if any of these names tie into any of your lines.     3. Mr. Mullican Your grandmother died in 1919 and Orr Hardware was the funeral home. Did you find a death certificate with the state of Tx. or did you have access to Orr records? My grandfather died in 1924 and Orr Hardware handled his funeral; and I can find nothing in the records. I just have some family papers. Thank you. Susie

I would like to have the date and last names of the wives of: Robert Cary Lamb married Evelyn (unknown) probably late 1930's or early 40's Charles (Walter Charles, Jr.) Lamb married Bonnie Bell. He died in Corsican. Walter Charles Lamb married Lea Littleton (second wife) would like date. Lea Littleton Lamb was a school teacher there in Ennis, Ellis County for about 50 years. Once she retired from public school she started teaching for a private school. She was a lovely person and from all indications a very good school teacher. Thanks, Linda

His death wasn't registered with the state. That was in 1905. The only problem is the record has the wrong first name. Susan
