    2. Vickie Taylor
    3. Hi Bob, Our family is looking for a place to have a family reunion this summer. Waxahachie was suggested. What we need is a place that could provide us with, beds for about75 to 100 people, we prefer our own kitchen and a gathering place bid enough for everyone to sit and visit. We have used several church camps in the past and they work out really well. Do you have any suggestions of something of that nature in the area? Vickie

    1. Re: [TXELLIS] Waxahachie info please.
    2. Vickie The only place with that kind of facilities in this area is at the Salvation Army Camp about half way between Waxahachie and Midlothian on FM road 875. You might contact them. I know some of the churches in this area use their facilities. I have no idea of the cost. The phone number is 972-723-2387. Thier fax number is 972-723-3124. The name of the camp is Camp Hoblitzelle. Hope this helps. Bob

    1. [TXELLIS] Lee-Peacock Feud
    2. Denise Maddox
    3. Larry Peacock (a descendant) has emailed me informing me that there is going to be a story on the Lee-Peacock Feud on WFAA - Channel 8 on 1/6 (part 1) and 1/7 (part 2) at 10PM. The Lee-Peacock feud took place in "Four Corners" (Collin, Fannin, Hunt, Grayson Counties) during the latter 1800's. Many Boren's were involved. I'll tell ya what's funny about the Lee-Peacock feud, is that there are still many people interested and many different stories...still hangin' around. I love family history, don't you? I have a website regarding the feud at: http://www.geocities.com/dmaddox1/feud.html Also there is more about the feud on the Fannin County Page (by Susan Hawkins) at: http://www.rootsweb.com/~txfannin/feud.html Denise Maddox
