    1. [TXELLIS] Cemetery lookup for Glen, John Glen or Glenn John Barnett in 1880s
    2. GEO DEVRIES
    3. \Would anyone have access to a book of Cemeteries in Ellis County, Texas. I am not sure where my great-grandfather was buried in the County or even positive of his first name...he died in the 1880's if family lore is correct. Variations of the name may of been Glenn Barnett or John Glenn or Glenn John Barnett. His son John Walter Barnett was listed in the delayed births of the county ( have conflicting birth dates of 1884, 1886 and 1888 thus the reason for looking in all the 80s ). His Father is supposed to of died when John Walter was two years old... the county doesn't have a marriage for his parents and haven't found a death records as of yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Darlene, Native Texan, in Illinois mdgdevries@worldnet.att.net Researching: Adams, Ayres, Baird, Barnett, Brown, De Vries, Doggett, Edwards, Fitzgerald, Harmsen, Lang, Lassiter, Prince, Stone, and many branches from these. -

    2. Faye, I don't live in Texas, but my mothers whole family was from Bristol, a little town just outside of Ennis. So do a lot of reseach for there as well as go to the anual "Old Bristol Families Reunion". I will be there from the end of May until mid June this year. I live in Az and get over to the Mesa Family History Center at least once a week. They have all the census and a lot of other info right there. Don't have to send for it, makes it easy! Dian
